Day 82 & 83 Idaho

We are traveling across the Idaho with our destination on this leg of the trip at Yellowstone National Park.  Since we have been exploring as we go we never know where we will be staying.  With it being prime vacation time we were concerned about getting a place to stay close enough to Yellowstone, usually it takes months in advance to get a spot. We started a few days ago when we had a pretty good ideal when we could be there looking for a campground. Luckily we found a state park right outside the west entrance. We have to have 2 spots so we had to work around this. Luckily we could get 2 sites for three nights a couple days out.  We got a spot east of Boise for the first night.  It was a great RV park with a wonderful salt water pool. Since we had a few days before our State park reservation we decided to stay at this nice spot an extra night.  It has been nice having a down day.  Here are a few pics from these days. I was a little disappointed coming thru Boise, the interstate was so far outside the city you couldn't see it at all.

So much history in this area that is along the Oregon Trail
Nice visitors center and we found a shady spot to eat lunch

The Snake River runs thru here

It got up to 103 but luckily the humidity was very low so not as bad

We were sure happy to see this pool in this 100+ degree weather.

We were about 50 feet from pool!
