Day 78 Goodbye Canada

Although our destination was Alaska, much of the trip was spent in Canada. I can't say enough good things about the country and it's people. We traveled thru large portions of two provinces Alberta and British Columbia and the Yukon Territory. Each was beautiful in its own unique way and look forward to taking other trips to other areas. We only had a short drive to get to border. It took us a while due to traffic to get there and clear customs. I was happy and appreciate the great job our customs officers are doing. It is a tough job and they were hoping.  We traveled into Washington after crossing. To much of our surprise we came into a very rural area with large farms. As we got near Seattle we had decided we would not visit and took a rural road to get out of stop and go traffic. We decided to make a short driving day and stopped for the night. We found a casino and they are great to let you stay in their parking lot overnight.  We all enjoyed our evening and all came out with a little extra. Here are a few pics from today.

In line at the border crossing. It got interesting for a minute when a man cut in between us near the border then decided he was in wrong spot and tried to turn around. A officer told him to stop and he didn't and he puts his hand on his weapon to draw down on him before he got the crazy driver's attention. Now is not the time for stupidy for sure! Always nice to be back home even if we are 2000+ miles from it, lol. Go USA!!
