Day 79, 80 & 81 Washington & Oregon

After spending the night in Washington we headed southeast to Oregon. We had thought about going down coast for a while but decided we would save that for another trip. We ended up in Pendleton Oregon at a campground on a reservation. It is really nice and the temperature has sure gotten warmer than what we are used too. We came by so many orchards and fruit gardens on along our way. After getting past mountainous area the land became desert like and bare. The strange thing wherever they irrigated or watered would be lush plants.  Not what we were expecting. After getting to our campground we were pretty exhausted and in bad need of some housekeeping. The trip thru the frozen north sure took its toll on truck and camper. We are past filthy. The campground allows you to wash vehicles and has a good laundry so we decided to take a few days and clean up, pay some bills, stock up and also just take it easy. We reserved three nights and will be going into Idaho tomorrow. Glad to be back with phone service and get back in touch. Here are a few pics of trip from Washington to campground here in Oregon.

Same area not irrigated.

Cool teepees at campground, they have been occupied every night.
