We had a rainy trip into Vancouver, sure wish it had been clearer to see more of the sights. We made the best out of the rain as possible and actually lucked up and got some breaks at key sights. We were treated to farmlands, mountains, deep canyons and another desert area within our short drive....unbelievable! You go from a lush rain soaked area to a very dry warm area they call the Arizona of Canada. We also went thru rodeo country as well as skiing areas. Thru the canyon area we stopped at Hells Gate and rode an incline to get a better view. After deciding to go closer into Vancouver to tour the town we found a campground we thought would work well for us...WRONG. The campground ended up being way to far into the city and without any cell service we had only MJ gps and ours in the truck which does not work well. Keep in mind this is Friday evening and during rush hour. Traffic stopped several times due to wrecks and a car fire. We are pulling a 37 foot long camper on unfamiliar roads, sounding fun yet?? Well we finally got near campground and the turn into the campground had no markings so we missed the turn. Well needless to say it was a nightmare getting turned and back to the place. But we made it, and hit the hot tub after dinner! Here are the pics from this leg of our journey.
