The Icefield Parkway runs the continental divide across the Canadian Rockies. Known for its clear blue lakes and a hundred glaciers its the most scenic routes to take. Its about 144 miles and recommend 7 hrs to view. We lucked up and had good weather until last 20 miles. Here are todays pictures. We overnighted in Jasper National park. On to Grand Prairie tomorrow.
We climbed to this summit and it about killed me, but so worth it. The most awesome part when we got almost to the top we heard this huge noise and looked up to witness an avalanche. I was too shocked to video it, but it made my day! The view of the lake was worth the hike even in snow.
