We are staying at one of Canada's National Park, the US could take lessons from the beautiful, clean and well maintained park. I am a huge fan of both state and national parks, but to get on my rant for a minute, it is a disgrace how our US National parks are being maintained, also Kentucky's. After staying at other state parks ours are dirty, run down and out of date, well enough said. Check out Canada parks if your near one. We are just heading out to start exploring but here are a few pics, more later.
We went to the town of Banff, what a great surprise. Not expecting much of anything , but it looks like a swiss village. It has tons of shops and restaurants and hotels. We have decided we could just stay here! Here are a few sights around the town.
After checking out Banff, we went to Lake Louise, claimed to be the most photographed lake. It is a glacier lake that is turquoise color and clear. We walked atound the lake to get better view of glacier. Here are pictures from area.
