Day 43 Seward via

Well we started out heading to Seward to stay a few days but along the 100 mile trip we decided to make a stop to pan for gold. We found a campground in a national forest and parked for the night. We found the spot that was listed in the panning for gold book and off we went. After walking thru waist high weeds and giant mosquitos and flies, but luckily no bears, we settled into our spots on the creekside.  Well for two hours we worked hard only to come up empty of gold but with loads of good time and laughs. Oh well, we have our pans and we will try again. The campground here is very nice, although it has no type of hookups, it sits on a beautiful lake and beside a river and creek. Water certainly is in abundance here. Not much else today, couple pics and on to Seward tomorrow.
