Day 31 Denali National Park

We made it to Denali about noon and got camp set up. We were hoping to see part of the park this afternoon but all the buses were booked. The only way to go into the park is by bus, but we were able to get seats for in the morning. Kinda bummed since the weather isnt forecasted to be very good the next couple days. Oh well, it may slow us down but it wont stop us. We went on to check out visitors center and whoa what a surprise. As I walked across the parking lot this Asian man comes toward me excited it took me a second to understand he was saying moose. I had just finished reading a flyer about how cow moose with babies are unpredictable and to avoid them and if they charge you to run behind things. Well, I look up and this huge moose is right in front of me and i look and yes baby right behind her....great...I start backing up and holler at Carvel to stay back until we see what she is going to do. Luckily, she stepped back but then some folks came up on her other side trying to get close and take pictures and spooked her. She finally found a way out and i got a couple quick pics from a distance. I see why people get hurt when they don't listen and those people ran up to take pics.  A momma will protect!  After we left the visitor center on our way back to camp we saw a couple more moose, what a great way to start our stay here.
