Day thirteen - in the desert
We made it to Quartzsite this afternoon, for those not familiar with here it is the most populated camping spot in January and February in one town in the country. During other months there maybe a little over a thousand people here but during the winter, tens of thousands come. Why? Because the weather is great and you can stay free or almost free on federal land. Also, there are shows and giant flea markets here for cheap entertainment. Some call it woodstock for campers, but I doubt that since most here are on social security. Not been out to check out the sites so I will let you know more about the place later. Here are a few pics I took today.
