Day six and Texas bound

We are trying to see things that we want to see as we travel, so some days we travel a couple hours while other days are longer.  We also are trying to get to western Arizona for some of the big shows during January, so we are deciding what we need to see while going and what we can see on our return trip.  As we head into the panhandle of Texas we decide we will just enjoy the scenery as we pass thru this area.

We stopped at the AOK Campground, which was a former KOA campground from a time long ago.  Mostly long term campers who apparently worked in the area.  Not a destination campground but easy access to interstate and at $12.50 a night with full hook ups, it was a good place to sleep.  They had a note on the door and envelopes to just put you site number and money in envelope and drop in slot!  Not the prettiest place, but is was quiet and would use again if needed.
