We left Zion for a quick trip to Bryce National Park. The temperature was good but traveling to 8000+ feet in elevation made a huge difference. Snow snow and more snow on the ground. Because its winter no campgrounds were open. A store let us get some water for our tank and we got gas for generator and found us a spot to park in a partially cleared section of the campground inside the park. They have no water, electricity or even bathrooms to shower in. The altitude is really bothering our breathing so we decided to see the sites today and try to get back down the mountain tomorrow. If it doesnt snow or get icy as is possible. The park is great but snow is preventing everything but sight seeing. These pictures kinda explain.
