Day 39 thru 42

Loving the sights around Lake Havasu City.  It sure has a lot to offer, mild weather, desert land, gorgeous lake and small town atmosphere with large city amenities, no wonder snowbirds come here. You can see progress everywhere.  I can really see this as a come back too spot!  Here are a few pics around here. 

May not look that high but i was 2/3 rds way up when i took this pic.  It was straight up.  

These pictures are from our 5+ mi walk into the canyon behind our camper. Carvel was determined to climb that peak. I made it about 2/3 way and decided to just take pictures. Needless to say we were both killed when we got back.  

The main attraction here is the London Bridge. They purchased it from London England and had it shipped here in pieces. Down under the bridge along the water are shops and restaurants with British style. The also have day cruises that go out. Really a nice area to just take a stroll. 

We found a nice public park down at the waters edge, it had large beach, walking bike trail, bike park for younger folks and ball fields, plus tons of benches and picnic shelters.
